1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Pact website, joining the waitlist, or using any Pact products or services, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use our services.

2. Description of Service

Pact provides a wearable accountability device and companion app that allows users to set personal rules and experience configurable consequences (electrical stimulation) when those rules are not met. The device is entirely user-configured and user-controlled.

3. Eligibility

To use Pact, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Be capable of forming a binding contract
  • Not be prohibited from using the service under applicable law
  • Not have a medical condition that contraindicates the use of electrical stimulation devices (including but not limited to: cardiac pacemakers, epilepsy, pregnancy, or other conditions as outlined in the product safety guide)

4. Waitlist

Joining the Pact waitlist does not constitute a purchase, reservation, or guarantee of product availability. Waitlist position does not guarantee order of access. We reserve the right to modify or cancel the waitlist programme at any time.

5. Assumption of Risk & Consent

By using the Pact device, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • You voluntarily choose to use a device that delivers electrical stimulation
  • You configure the intensity levels and rules at your own discretion
  • You have read and understood all safety warnings in the product documentation
  • You assume all risks associated with the use of the device
  • You will not use the device on any person who has not given informed consent
  • You will immediately discontinue use if you experience adverse effects

6. Medical Disclaimer

Pact is not a medical device and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition. The electrical stimulation feature is a personal accountability tool, not a therapeutic device. Consult your doctor before use if you have any medical conditions or concerns. Do not use Pact if you have a pacemaker, implanted defibrillator, or other implanted electronic device.

7. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the device on another person without their explicit informed consent
  • Modify, tamper with, or reverse-engineer the device or software
  • Use the device in a manner inconsistent with its intended purpose
  • Exceed the manufacturer-specified intensity levels
  • Use the service for any unlawful purpose

8. Intellectual Property

All content on the Pact website, including text, graphics, logos, icons, images, and software, is the property of Pact and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. "Pact", the Pact logo, and "Precision Motivation Technology" are trademarks of Pact.

9. Third-Party Integrations

Pact integrates with third-party services (including OpenClaw, Google Calendar, MyFitnessPal, and others). Your use of these integrations is subject to the respective third-party terms and privacy policies. Pact is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or conduct of any third-party service.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pact and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to personal injury, discomfort, or property damage arising from your use of or inability to use the device or services.

Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to these terms or our services shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Pact device.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Pact from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the device or services, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

12. Product Returns & Warranty

Pact devices come with a 1-year limited warranty covering manufacturing defects. The warranty does not cover damage from misuse, modification, or normal wear. Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery for unopened products only. Opened products may be returned within 14 days if the device is defective.

13. Subscription Services (Pact+)

Pact+ is a recurring monthly subscription. You may cancel at any time, and cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial billing periods. We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with 30 days' notice.

14. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.

16. Severability

If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

17. Third-Party Trademarks

All third-party product names, logos, and brands mentioned on this website are the property of their respective owners. Google Calendar is a trademark of Google LLC. Apple Health and Screen Time are trademarks of Apple Inc. MyFitnessPal is a trademark of MyFitnessPal, Inc. OpenClaw is a trademark of its respective owner. All other trademarks are the property of their respective owners. Use of these names, logos, and brands does not imply endorsement, affiliation, or sponsorship. Pact is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any of these companies.
